Community Guidelines


These Community Guidelines are entered into by and between You and Apostolic Christian Church of America, and its corporate affiliates: Apostolic Christian Ministries, Apostolic Christian Bookstore (an assumed name of Apostolic Christian Ministries), Onward Media (an assumed name of Apostolic Christian Ministries), Elders Teaching Resource (a service of Apostolic Christian Ministries), The Learning Connection (a service of Apostolic Christian Ministries), Apostolic Christian HarvestCall and Apostolic Christian Counseling and Family Services (collectively, the “AC Entities,” "we," "us," or "our"), each a not for profit corporation incorporated in the state of Illinois, United States, and described as a public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code.


These Community Guidelines explain how to participate respectfully when posting, commenting, uploading, and interacting on the Website, The Learning Connection portal, AC Jobs portal, or using the AC Central App (“Services”). By using the Website or Services, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines in addition to our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Notice of Privacy Practices (&LINK). In the event of any discrepancy between the Community Guidelines, Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Notice of Privacy Practices, the following hierarchy shall control: (1) Notice of Privacy Practices, (2) Privacy Policy, (3) Terms of Use, and (4) these Community Guidelines.  Please read all four carefully.


These Guidelines apply to all User Contributions on the Website or Services, including message boards, group discussion boards, job boards, audio files, video files, profiles, and other interactive features that allow users to post, submit, publish, display, or transmit to other users or other persons content on or through the Website or Services.


1        Content standards

These Community Guidelines apply to any and all User Contributions. User Contributions must in their entirety comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and international laws and regulations. Without limiting the foregoing, User Contributions must not:

  • Contain any material that is defamatory, obscene, indecent, abusive, offensive, harassing, violent, hateful, inflammatory, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Contain nudity, or otherwise promote sexually explicit or pornographic material, violence, or discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
  • Infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property or other rights of any other person.
  • Violate the legal rights (including the rights of publicity and privacy) of others or contain any material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under applicable laws or regulations or that otherwise may be in conflict with the Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
  • Be likely to deceive any person.
  • Promote any illegal activity, or advocate, promote, or assist any unlawful act.
  • Cause annoyance, inconvenience, or needless anxiety or be likely to upset, embarrass, alarm, or annoy any other person.
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organization.
  • Involve commercial activities or sales, such as contests, sweepstakes, and other sales promotions, barter, or advertising.
  • Give the impression that they emanate from or are endorsed by us or any other person or entity, if this is not the case.


2        Reporting

To report violations of these Community Guidelines, email itsupport@apostolicchristian.org with links, screenshots, and a description of the issue. We review reports based on severity, risk, and volume. We may not respond to every report individually, but we take all reports seriously.


3        Enforcement

We apply graduated actions in response to violations based on context and severity, including: warning or education about the Community Guidelines; content removal or editing; feature restrictions; temporary suspension; permanent ban; or preservation of data and reporting to, or cooperation with, law enforcement or regulators when we believe it is necessary to protect users, comply with law, or address harm. Repeated or egregious violations may result in immediate, permanent ban from the Website or Services.


4        Disclaimers

User Contributions belongs to the user who posts it. Views expressed do not reflect the views of the AC Entities and we do not endorse, verify, or guarantee User Contributions. The AC Entities are not responsible for errors, omissions, or any losses or harms resulting from User Contributions or from your reliance on them. We are not responsible or liable to any third party for the content or accuracy of any User Contributions posted by you or any other user of the Website or Services. Use the Website and Services at your own risk.


5        Changes to The Community Guidelines

We may revise and update these Community Guidelines from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them and apply to all access to and use of the Website and Services thereafter.
